Just finished a groom where the owner said the cat might be a “little skittish”. The cat was fine & groomed without incident. That’s when the owner said they really expected the cat to rip my face off as several others have tried to bathe it, unsuccessfully.
Um, why didn’t they tell me that to begin with? Then again, probably better not to know.
Anyhow, the big secret here was to use a folded towel in the sink for the cat to sit on,comfortably & securely. They don’t want to slip around or have their claws trapped in screening.
